Is that even safe? I looked it up and it looks sketchy and saw lots of clone websites. Nothing mentioned with regards to privacy. Needless to say it is probably closed-source as well.

Very surprised Twitter didn't ban them. At least they have one public outlet to communicate with the rest of the world. They are a sovereign nation after all, like it or not.
