Well this convinced me to give it a try! It’s nice to hear about developers not treating their audience like bad guys. Just bought it!

Haven't bought it just yet, but I've definitely added it to my wishlist ❤️ roll on pay day!

Loved this game! The Stanley Parable meets a cosmic horror visual novel with fun voice acting. I didn't expect to like it as much as I did, and I'm glad to hear that the devs have this perspective.

Wow, that's quite a description. You've got me considering the game now. lol

I don't like visual novels but I liked this game. The interaction between the narrator and yourself never gets old.

My only criticism is that adding so many achievements turned the game into menuing simulator that got incredibly repetitive and tedious. Achievements tend to ruin narrative games.

It's been sitting in my wishlist for a few months, I feel like this is one of those game which should be played when the perfect storm of enough free time + correct mindset happen

Yeah for sure! When you’re in the right frame of mind, it hits like nothing else.

Another similar type of situation for me was the game Citizen Sleeper. I had it in my library for so long without playing it, since I was worried it would be too intense or “too real”. And I’m glad I waited for the right time time to play it because it really was pretty intense lol

Had fun with thia game when it came out, I would recommend giving it a try.

Lots of options and unique dialog depending on your choices.

I'm glad one of my favorite VNs keeps getting good news!

Spoiler free is a big deal here. I'd say I ruined my experience a tad by playing through the entire demo.

Regardless, a phenomenal experience. I hope more people get a chance to enjoy it and I hope their other up-coming game gets the support it needs with this.

I did this with Deadwood. Played it after pirating it then a year or so later bought it when I had the money. I actually haven’t played my legitimate copy.

This game deserves all the praise it gets. The amazing voice acting from Nichole Goodnight and Jonathan Sims is what takes the experience to the next level. I support the message that it deserves to be played not read or watched.

Seconded. Great voice work here

Probably an unpopular opinion, but I did not like this game because I thought the voice acting was really inconsistent in acting and production quality.

I'm going to watch people play it because I have no interest in what I've seen of the game so far.

I don't care for psychological horror, I don't care for shitting on tropes, I got quite enough of the "piss off the narrator"genre from Stanley parable when I played it for 45 minutes (I bought the re release, installed it, and asked myself wtf am I doing "playing"this again).

No dirt too the developers, I'm glad you have a success on your hands, kudos for making a project you genuinely want to share and have passion for, but my love of choose your own adventure stories ended in 4th grade. I'd rather have excellent gameplay and no story, give me a puzzle game any day.
