Last week our favorite bookworm returned to the temple and found two orphans who would be given magic tools to become nobles. Then there was a meeting to bring Benno up to date and request fey paper for Ferdinand. We left off at Rozemyne's library with Clarissa, and Hartmut to experiment on improving the fey paper by brewing.

Any guesses on where the story will take us this week?

I noticed that 3rd party web lemmy apps like alexandrite.app seem to not funciton with bookwormstory.social due to CORRS. Other instances like lemmy.world seem to work fine.

Not sure if there is an environmental variable change needed to get corrs working (not sure how lemmy works under the hood).

Also as a side note vger.app (wefwef) mobile web client does work since it has a proxy function though not sure if it will be removed in the future.

Hi guys kinda found a weird bug on some communities limited amount of content being synced.

Not sure if this topic fits in this community but recently my account on a lemmy instance with a .ml extension (lemmy.fmhy.ml) was rendered inaccessible.

While the instance works to a degree (I can set a dns overide to gain acess) due to the broken domain it effectivly renders my account (and the instance lost due to federation).

While bookworm is fine I worry about other instances like lemmy.ml which has the same domain prefix and hosts many communities.

Sensei's newest blog post has some information on P5V12.

There will be tons of added chapters from Rozemyne pov. So much that the book won't fit any SS chapters which is quite a lot, as the final volume will be half new content. Prologue will be Ferdinand pov and epilogue will be Lutz pov (which was also the last chapter of the WN).

It's both nice and a shame. Nice because Rozemyne pov is always interesting and it is going to be nice to get more of that. A shame, because the SS chapters are usually very good and give a different perspective to events. Let's hope we will also get other perspectives in a later volume that focuses on short stories, so we'd get the best of both worlds.

Out of curiosisity how does book worms manga release schedule compare to the light novels?

Hi guys out of curiosity how reliable is image uploads on bookwormstory.social? (curious since this instance has a relativly small userbase 100-200).

On lemmy.fmhy.ml (10k users) image uploading is kinda hit/miss with json errors when uploading images (frequently need to fall back on imgur).

Curious if these errors are due to bugs in lemmy or just the massive load in storing/serving images to users.

Now that we have reached a chapter that is a favourite to many, what are your favourite chapters until now? I can't name an absolute favourite but some of them are:

• Facing the Future (Effa pov in 2.4)
• Switching Places (Roz pov when Wilfried was the high bishop for a day)
• Angelica's Manablade
• Headache Report 2 (Sylvester pov epilogue in P4V6)
• Doing a Little Scheming
• Roz pov of dedication ceremony in contrast to Lueuradi pov (worked even better in the WN since Lueuradi pov was first)
• Merchant Saint + Conditions for Adoption
• Mother and Daughter

Absolutely one of the best chapters in this whole series.
