It’s been an eventful week in the fediverse, with the Swiss government ending their Mastodon pilot, the launch of the Social Web Foundation, Interaction Policies with GoToSocial and more!

I'm having trouble opening the post-comments on image- and link-posts with single-line headlines. The clickable area for the headline is so small that I keep opening the community or the link/image by mistake. Trying to open the post-comments via the comment icon below the link/image often leads to an involuntary downvote because of the even smaller clickable area around the comment icon.

I would suggest to add a swipe action that can be configured to open the post-comments. That way, the layout can stay as is and people with clumsy thumbs like me have an alternative option to open post-comments.

Thanks for an otherwise perfect app. This is literally the only issue I have with it. Cheers!

Furthermore, I’ve split all news about Bluesky and the ATmosphere into it’s own separate newsletter, Last Week in the ATmosphere. I originally wanted to keep them together, but the newsletters were simply getting too big, so it was time to split them. Lots of news this week with FediForum, a Fediverse Discovery Project, and mozilla.social shutting down, so lets dive in.

Auf lebensmittelwarnung.de publizieren die Bundesländer oder das Bundesamt für Verbraucherschutz und Lebensmittelsicherheit (BVL) öffentliche Meldungen und Informationen im Sinne des Lebensmittel-, Bedarfsgegenstände- und Futtermittelgesetzbuches (LFGB).

Und das ganze gibt's auch als App für iOS und Android (Google Play und direkter APK-Download).

Dabei verzichten sie anscheinend vollständig darauf Nutzungsdaten zu sammeln

Einstellungen zu Ihren personalisierten Benachrichtigungen in unserer App werden nicht an uns übermittelt und sind lediglich auf Ihrem Telefon gespeichert.

Find ich gut. Vielleicht kann die App ja noch wer von euch gebrauchen.
