Joe Biden doing some heavy lifting in this narrative as a VP and one term president. If anything, Joe Biden and Bill Clinton actually prove this point that anyone can become president, both come from very modest means.

The Bushes, however, are a dysfunctional political dynasty stretching back to senator and investment banker Prescott Bush, George HW's father, and Samuel Prescott Bush, a steel executive and industrialist, who was HW's grandfather.

Also, you left out that this is the 3rd election in a row with Trump on the ballot.

Valleau was arraigned Friday on one felony count of ethnic intimidation and one misdemeanor count of assault and battery. He pleaded not guilty and was issued a $25,000 bond.

If convicted of ethnic intimidation, Valleau faces up to two years in prison and/or a fine of up to $5,000.

That doesn't include the misdemeanor assault charge. He's not being charged with attempted murder, it sounds like he brandished a knife and yelled slurs but didn't attack her.

I'm talking about changing minds. CO2 emissions have already been framed as pollution for decades, and that narrative has demonstrably failed to move the public consciousness. Just saying "oh it's definitely pollution when there's too much of it" is dismissive and will change zero minds, assuming that's your goal here.

Fully aware. Also, CO2 is the biggest problem, and addressing CO2 emissions will go a large way toward addressing gases like methane.

CFC emissions worldwide have dropped off a cliff since the 80s, and that can be viewed as a global success story we should emulate for CO2.

Whatever point you're trying to make without saying it out loud is false:

It being at its lowest price in a decade is literally true. I don't have a clue why you're bringing the pandemic into this since this stock reached its peak in 2018. Ubisoft stock has been on a precipitous decline for 4 straight years now, wtf are you even trying to convey here?

Sure, a 20% drop on the same day is significant

Yes, and that's literally all this post is trying to convey. This post is not a news report or a economist's dissertation, this is a screenshot of the pre-bell stock price posted to a gaming community on Lemmy

You can see right there at the top of the graph it's down 20% in the given timeframe. There are ways to make graphs misleading, but there's nothing misleading at all about zooming in on the data in this chart

I'm going to reframe this as who I think the best composers are:

Bernard Hermann, Vertigo, North by Northwest, Psycho, etc.

John Williams, E.T., Jurassic Park, Indiana Jones, Star Wars, etc.

Akira Ifukube, most of the Shōwa era Godzilla movies

Shiro Shigasu, Evangelion, Shin Godzilla

As far as new work, I'm partial to Scott Stafford on Ultraman Rising. It came out on Netflix this past June and I was really surprised how good that movie and soundtrack were.
