Hmm. I see the argument, but it seems to be more like an issue with pricing than a flaw with HSR. Once high speed track is in service it should be able to run plenty of trains all around the clock, I can see how it could make low speed rail seem redundant.

I'd think it would make more sense to keep the low speed tracks and use them for freight, and also make high speed rail cheaper to ride.

At least that's what the juice jackers want us to think.

Anyone else see the back of the chair as the person's hair in the first two panels?

Haha, I'm glad you liked it. I was a little bit drunk and worried it might not be as funny to everyone else as it seemed in my head at the time.

Yeah, a bite is more like a dagger than a short sword. Plus barbarians already get an extra +2 damage while raging, which makes their bites average more than a d6 plus strength with the same max damage.

Beast barbarians can even cause their teeth to grow during a rage giving them a d8 bite attack.

How many people have you bitten? Blood stains your lips, especially if you let it dry, it's not as easy as wiping it off. You need hot water and soap, which might not have been in the car during the trip to the hospital.

Is it really hurting the low speed networks? I would imagine there are many stations that high speed rail doesn't go to. Let goods travel long distance low speed, let people go fast.

But what's your straight line distance to the Parthenon?

At least not without a beekeeper condom.

Spending on missile defense is one of the only parts of the military budget I'm alright with. Heck, why not expand it, intercept every missile targeting civilians regardless of who fired it.

Just a little system tray icon to show support for the LGBTQ+ community.

Originally created last year as a simple one-off project in response to Windows 11 users getting mad about a pride icon appearing on their task bar.

This year I remade it in Go, added support for Windows (7 and up), and improved compatibility with a variety of Linux environments.

Let me know what you think, or don’t, just please be nice about it.
