If it’s not formatted in APFS, then you have almost certainly identified your issue. Boy, did I feel silly finding this out.

His highest rated movie seems to be Kung Fu Panda 2 though. Also, i had no idea he had kept making so many movies over the last 10 years! And they are literally all apparently horrendous. What a shame. I watched all of this dudes stuff in the 90s and 2000s, and have vivid memories of sitting extremely awkwardly through the steamy sex scene in Double Impact while watching with my parents.

I think he’s only in about 3 shots in Predator

Well i for one experience Apple rage multiple times a week, but I’m so entrenched in their ecosystem, i may never escape. Also there is no better alternative that would be quick and easy to setup and maintain.

I enjoy not spending 20 minute shuffling jars and cans in a cabinet i can’t reach the back of

Half their stuff is just android features they were slow to adopt

You too?!?! Mine is only one downvote, but it’s on like 75% of my stuff. I thought someone had a vendetta against me, and a lot of free time. Then again, I am a childless cat man, so what do I know? 😂

Why are you being downvoted?

[–] Reverendender@sh.itjust.works 1 points 18 hours ago

There can be only one

Applicable to many areas of my life

I don’t see any reason why not. What’s your issue?

Biologically male procedures only. EDIT: If the two people who downvoted this question could explain their reasoning, I would be super interested. No judgements. This is a safe space!

I’m clearly doing it wrong because they just don’t seem to believe that they won’t be missing out on their regular programs, many of which they can also access on apps they already have. But they would rather keep watching DirecTV for $120 a month. I’m worn out

EDIT: For clarification, I feel that the current situation on the ground in the war (vs. say a year ago) might indicate that an attack on Russia might not result in instant nuclear war, which is what prompted my question. I am well aware of the “instant nuclear Armageddon” opinion.

Serious question. I don’t need to be called stupid. I realize nuclear war is bad. Thanks!

It's for my mother, who so far cannot stand LibreOffice.

I used to love the Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child books

Like Relic, and the Pendergast series etc. I feel like they got pretty schlocky, but it's been quite a while, and I don't really remember. Are any of their other stuff worth a read?

Linux Switch advice? (sh.itjust.works)

I am seriously considering pulling the trigger on a switch to Linux. Looking for advice and discussion

In terms of hardware, what are some good cost effective resources and what what things might I want to consider differently than what I am used to in both the Mac and Windows worlds? I need smart home management, a plex hub, and photo editing, as well as the usual other stuff.

EDIT: When I say photo editing, I am talking about working with RAW files to optimize the image according to my taste and style. I also make use of software that has good library organization capabilites. In this case, I use CaptureOne. I do not generally do the sort of editing people do in photoshop, putting unicorns in their pictures or whatever people do these days. I'm not opposed to cool creative images or anything, I just don't go down that route terribly often.
