In a rational world? Perhaps. But if this were a rational world and that were actually the reason. They would have done it after the Clinton campaign leaked documents. Or 30 times before that. So I highly suspect that isn't the case. It's that it's impacting the people they want to win personally. Therefore it must be censored. And for all the many faults Democrats have. They're not being hypocritical on this point at least. The Biden campaign was contacted with this information previously but didn't publish it or run with it. Not like any Republican or specifically Trump officials would have.

Interesting how documents from democratic campaigns are fair game. Even dick pics of the president's son are fair game. But when it comes to Republicans Suddenly It's all off limits. Strange.

The first sentence addressed what they talked about. It's great as an assistant to cut through documentation to get at what you need. In fact, here's a recent video from Perry Fractic doing just that with microtext for the C64.

Anything else like having it generate the code itself, it's more of a liability than an asset. Since it doesn't really understand what its doing.

Perhaps I should have separated the two thoughts initially? Either way I've said my piece.

It's great for regurgitating pre written text. For generating new or usable code it's largely useless. It doesn't have an actual understanding of what it says. It can recombine information and elements its seen before. But not generate anything truly unique.

Who in their right Minds would want to be a nerd but not a venture brothers fan?

Yep when it comes to undecided voters. Best case is that they're unengaged and completely preoccupied with long-term health issues etc. The ones that don't fall into that vanishingly small minority. Are just f****** stupid. Willfully ignorant. The one saying RFK Jr and Tulsi Gabbard would be a slam dunk for her, especially so. Anyone who looks at a hypocritical moral less opportunist, or a lunatic ruined by his own family and drugs. And says those are the kind of leaders we need. Need serious help. Especially with staying away from me. It's scary to think that people are so ignorant and proud of it.

And of course trump himself has projected. Calling Democrats fascists. But as always. Everything is only a problem when someone else does it.

Well running a server and no longer interacting with a service can be two different things. From an organizational standpoint I could absolutely understand them not wanting or needing the expense of another service to maintain. Even for just their own use. As long as they still have accounts and post to the fediverse. I don't see a big issue

It's literally just a two to three minute long video. With literal links to the research paper in question. Perhaps you should read more and talk less.

Wrong as usual. Heres a video from 2 years ago. From an actual light transport researcher for 3d rendering. Again, this likely won't be on your 50 series GPU. But it is something very actively being researched. And likely will start showing up in consumer hardware before the end of the decade.
