"If I Could Turn Back Time" by Cher, thus proving to her for a fraction of a nanosecond that her premise was actually possible after all, before every trace of the tune ceases to exist.

Even better, bananas foster flavor

I'm honestly not sure. Nick didn't publish anything for like 10 years but then some more comics tickled out for a while and stopped again. Maybe there's an interview somewhere.

Ah, nice to see this Perry Bible Fellowship classic. Always a favorite.

Only if you're not creative.

Yeah I'm from the Great Lakes region and it's so weird. I enjoy fried chicken, I dig waffles... even maple syrup on them is fine (though honey is better on chicken, esp truffle or hot honey).

But putting them together is like basically having double the breading on the chicken, except one half is crispy and the other half is all spongey and wrong. It dilutes the flavor of the chicken, and then why would I ever want a meaty waffle? The sum is far less than the parts IMO.

Um, Tikka Masala is basically the national dish of the UK, they definitely enjoy flavor and spices in all kinds of curry dishes too

AFAIK anyone can go fully nude in most public spaces in Germany. It's actually kind of weirder to not allow it and carve out arbitrary exceptions if you think about it.

But he's not a human being, he's a comic character.

Have you had that happen with Microsoft / Rockstar / Ubisoft / EA / whatever accounts? That was my actual question.

Nah, IMO that's pretty reasonable. I would say "mad" here means someone bought the game and then gave it a negative review over the account linking.

Are people this mad about Microsoft accounts? I picked up Forza Horizon 4 and couldn't play at all until I signed in with one. However I already had one from using OneDrive.

Rockstar too. Can't even play RDR2 solo without creating an account.

I do hate Sony extra because they're the fuckwits behind some particularly stupid DRM schemes. But some of the games they've been publishing lately are good and very welcome on PC aside from this account crap.

What non-game paid apps do you use that are worthwhile and still relevant in 2023?

For context, I have a decent amount of Google Play credit thanks to Opinion Rewards and a gift card. I'm not looking to start a book or movie collection there, nor sign up for subscription services. But I'm happy to buy the paid/pro version of useful apps.

I'm excluding games just because that's a whole topic on its own.

Here are some one-time paid apps I've been happy with:
