This would be a great start. Strong Antitrust = Competition.

I'd be willing to share anonymized data as part of a collective traffic data alternative to Google. I imagine there would still be data fees associated with this data collection. We just really need to get an open source alternative to gmaps going. Gmaps is only getting worse. Like, what if something like Street Complete was also able to collect traffic data and feed it into a sharable database?

Alternatively, I wonder if they could buy traffic data from a third party like Garmin or something. I'd be willing to pay a small monthly fee to get away from Google.

This app is great. If it offered some sort of traffic aware navigation routing I would use it as my daily driver. I live in the city and traffic conditions can make a huge difference. Unfortunately, I don't think it has this capability. Hopefully someday.

That totally makes sense. The monks being kind of dumb and acting in a predictable way adds to the fun. They follow a set of rules the the player learns how to manipulate as they play.

That stinks. It's such good gameplay. I feel like it's ripe for someone to take the gameplay loop and put their own spin on ie. What Dungeons did with dungeon keeper.

This looks like the version I reference in my post, Lode Runner: The Legend Returns.

Eesh... Not sure this is what I'm looking for.

This was such a fun game. The premise is so simple but works so well. Staying ahead of the baddies is like an exciting puzzle. It was even better playing single screen multiplayer with a buddy.

Does anyone know of anything that scratches a similar itch?

Side Note: in searching around I found this modernized version of Lode Runner Online: The Mad Monks' Revenge. Should be a blast on the steam deck.

Hopefully I'm in the right place.

This is what I remember. The book is set in outer space some time after an intergalactic war with an alien species. Large ships were built during the war. One such ship was placed on the very edge of the known universe, which was where the aliens came from, as an outpost/watchtower of sorts. They keep watch over the edge for any sign of the aliens returning. Anyways, the characters in the book realize that the universe is contracting back in on itself and destroying everything in its path. Over the course of the book they must figure out what is going on while staying ahead of the contraction.

Please help.
