America should be the perfect example of violence begets violence. You wouldn't argue arming teachers would lower the amount of school shootings would you?

Agreed until the last part. Pretty sure adding more weapons to an active conflict never works. The better idea would be a cultural shift in teaching ppl not to be complete pieces of shit

Some of the founding fathers owned slaves. I don't think they'd have much of a problem with this

Living in Europe I have to constantly remind ppl that American racism is just European racism with better access to guns

How many times have they caused catastrophic damage to our planet, while spending billions of dollars to cover the damage up for decades, until we go far past the point of no return?

The answer is yes

Most of the ppl I'd vote for have expressed a clear digust in becoming a politician. Sad irony

Nah. Poor ppl who can't afford to leave the hell hole that is Florida will have their houses destroyed. No matter how rich the area there's always a poorer lower class living nearby to do their dirty work. The rich have lawyers to sue to get their insurance to cover damages or are covered by government flood insurance. The poor will suffer while the rich get richer and rebuild even though they built their mansions of flood plains. I lived in coastal Carolina. I've seen it a million times

The sheriff and head of our county DARE program awarded me an award for the best anti-drug essay when I was 10. He committed suicide after getting busted on drug and corruptions charges years later. I've been smoking weed pretty regularly since I was 17 and using psychedelics yearly since I was 20

Sadly that's more of an American thing. Guilty until proven innocent is only given to those the public likes. In the court of public opinion you're guilty until proven innocent and a fair trial is only afforded to the likeable

The worst part is you're looked at as crazy for bringing a refillable water bottle with you from ppl paying $6 for bottled water

The construction and food industries would grind to a hault without migrant labor

Goes to show Republicans (more so of course) and Democrats represent their donors more than the ppl who vote for them
