Hey folks. If you find a bat in your room in the morning, you need to go get a rabies shot. It doesn't matter what you think may or may not have happened, if you end up in a position where you are being told you have contracted rabies, you're already dead.
Rabies is fucking insane.
My sister actually had to get a rabies shot recently after waking up to a bat in her room. They tried to tell her she didn't need it because she'd know if the bat bit her!
Omfg, seriously? Who told her that? Certainly not tye folks at the local health unit... Right?
Unfortunately it was them. She did end up getting the shot finally when one person at her health unit decided to let her get it.
