Why does he need to crowdfund legal defense? I thought he was hugely a billionaire and was friends with all of the best lawyers?

[–] anlumo@feddit.de 27 points 1 year ago (1 children)

He didn’t get rich by paying for his lawyers himself.

[–] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

His lawyers generally don't get paid at all.

[–] totallynotarobot@lemmy.world 20 points 1 year ago

He's already blown through the money he was able to funnel to himself via the presidency.

Gotta find another grift now that he can't literally sell the Resolute Desk for ad space.

it's the next thing for election crime detection, you know because one of the 500 mac address that will be visible at a pooling place will be the voting machine calling home to china or Hillary's home, or... you know some where. For < reasons >

ADODB.Field error '800a0bcd'

Either BOF or EOF is True, or the current record has been deleted. Requested operation requires a current record.

Any bets on them doing this themselves just to get more attention?

The hacked message is too intelligently-written for it to have come from his team.

[–] MotoAsh@lemmy.world 6 points 1 year ago

By that you mean still written to a 3rd grader's reading level so the dummies might understand a sentence or two.

The message is still far too cohesive for Trump's team, though, so maybe reading level alone isn't enough.

[–] fubo@lemmy.world 35 points 1 year ago

Nah. Actual Trumpies wouldn't post a pro-honesty message.

[–] DrakeRichards@lemmy.world 25 points 1 year ago (1 children)

This has been up for so long that I doubt it’s a hack: it’s more likely that Trump stiffed his web developer.

I could see this, completely on brand for him.

Only reason I don't think so is because now the donate button has been gone for too long.

Why look for conspiracy when stupidity can explain so much.
